Geo Dollars

A rep’s guide to seeing your sales on the map and deciding who to visit next

Pictures use sample accounts. Tap a topic to jump to it.

1. What Geo Dollars is

Geo Dollars puts every one of your accounts on a map as a circle. One glance tells you two things about each account:

What you see What it means
Circle SIZE How much the account has bought this year (YTD sales). Bigger circle, bigger dollars.
Circle COLOR How long since someone logged a call report there. Green is recent; red means it’s been too long.
Blue ★ star An account over $200K this year: one of your most important customers.
“?” marker A prospect you’re working, colored the same way by how recently it was called on.

Why it matters

Big circles that turn red are dollars at risk: good customers nobody has visited lately. Geo Dollars makes them jump off the screen so you can put them on your route before a competitor does.

What you’ll see

2. The screen at a glance

Tap Geo Dollars in the menu on the left. You’ll see four areas (Figure 1):

  1. Search bar (top): find a ZIP code, city, or business name. The line under it counts your accounts on the map and your total sales this year.

  2. Legend (just above the map): what every color and size means.

  3. The map: every account as a circle and every prospect as a “?”. Use + and – (or pinch) to zoom, and drag to move around.

  4. Accounts by sales YTD (right side): every one of your accounts, highest sales to lowest, with last year’s total, the % change, and a colored dot matching its circle. When you tap an account, a Selected card with its details appears at the top of this panel.

Geo Dollars with an account selected: its details fill the Selected card, and it is highlighted in the list. Sample accounts shown.

3. Reading the circles

Size = sales this year

Circle YTD sales
Small Under $25,000
Medium $25,000 – $50,000
Large $50,000 – $100,000
Extra large (XL) $100,000 and up
XL with a blue ★ star Over $200,000
Tiny gray dot No sales yet this year

Color = when it was last called on

Color Last call report What to do
🟢 Green 1 – 45 days ago You’re on top of it.
🟡 Yellow 45 – 60 days ago Plan a visit soon, before it turns red.
🔴 Red 60+ days ago, or no call on record Get it on your route.
⚫ Black Marked “Do Not Call” Leave it alone; ask John if that looks wrong.
⚪ Gray No sales this year Worth a visit to find out why.

The legend at the top of the map explains both colors and sizes.

Turning a circle green

Colors come from call reports. Visit the account and save a call report in the CRM, and the circle turns green right away. No call report means the map can’t tell you were there.

Putting size and color together

The combination is what tells you where to spend your time:

What common combinations mean, and what to do about them.

Figure 3. What common combinations mean, and what to do about them.

4. Tapping an account

Tap any circle (or its blue star). Two things happen at once:

Either way, everything you need before walking in the door is right there:

An account’s details: sales, last call, dealer pricing and a link to the full account. The Selected card shows the same information.

Figure 4. An account’s details: sales, last call, dealer pricing and a link to the full account. The Selected card shows the same information.

Hover over a circle (on a computer) for a quick tip showing the name, YTD sales and days since the last call, without opening the pop-up.

5. Prospects on the map

Prospects show as a “?” in a circle, colored by how recently they were called on, just like accounts. Uncheck show prospects in the search bar to hide them.

Tap a “?” to fill the Selected card (and the map pop-up) with the prospect’s state, stage, how many days you’ve been working it, the potential monthly dollars and confidence, where the lead came from, the last call, any dealer pricing you’ve set up, and the contact information.

The accounts list

7. Using Geo Dollars to plan your week

  1. Zoom to the area you’ll be in (search the city or ZIP).

  2. Look for big red circles first, especially ones with a blue star, or scan the top of the accounts list for red dots. That’s your most valuable business going the longest without a visit.

  3. Then yellow: accounts about to turn red.

  4. Fill gaps with red “?” prospects and gray dots nearby. They’re cheap to add when you’re already in the neighborhood.

  5. Build the day in Routes, then log a call report at each stop. By next week those circles are green.

A good weekly habit

Open Geo Dollars on Monday, zoom out, and count your red circles. The goal is simple: fewer red circles every week.

9. Questions and troubleshooting

Question Answer
Geo Dollars isn’t in my menu. It’s turned on person by person. Ask John or Colt.
An account I just visited is still red. The color comes from call reports. Make sure you saved one for that account; it updates right away.
One of my accounts isn’t on the map. It has no map pin (address can’t be located). The line under the search bar counts these. Fix the address on the Customers tab, or tell John.
The sales look a day behind. Sales come from Compass every night, so today’s orders show up tomorrow.
I see someone else’s accounts / not all accounts. Reps see their assigned accounts; managers see their reps’. If an account is assigned to the wrong rep, tell John.
A prospect is missing. It needs an address. Use 📍 No map pin — locate on the Prospects tab.

Need help?

Contact John Troendle or Colt Plauche. They manage who can see Geo Dollars and can fix account addresses and rep assignments.
